VASUKI contains a 4% proprietary tripeptide formula (topical neurotoxin) that mimics Waglerin-1 functionally, a tripeptide found naturally in the venom of the temple viper snake (Tropidolaemus Wagleri). The chemical name for this tripeptide is Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate) and it works inhibiting skin muscle cell contractions that helps to relax facial muscles
thereby preventing and reducing wrinkles and lines in early ageing skin. It also acts at the postsynaptic membrane, as a muscle nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) blocking neurotoxin with a similar mechanism to botulinum toxin.
